Using Redswing in ChatGPT
Redswing is available as a ChatGPT Action, secured with OAuth, so you can work with your event data inside ChatGPT.
Overview
The ChatGPT Action connects ChatGPT to the same secure Redswing API that powers the MCP integration. Authorization happens through OAuth, so there is no token to copy or paste. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT about your events in plain language.
How to connect ChatGPT
- Open Dashboard and go to Connections.
- Follow the ChatGPT Action setup steps.
- Authorize the connection through OAuth when prompted; the action uses the same secure Redswing API as the MCP server.
- Once connected, ask ChatGPT to read your events, registrations, auction, leaderboard, and financials.
Things to know
- OAuth means there is no token to paste; you authorize through a secure sign-in instead.
- The ChatGPT Action offers the same capabilities as the MCP integration.
- You can review and manage the connection from Connections in your Dashboard.
