The leaderboard isn't updating

When the leaderboard looks frozen, it is usually a viewing issue or a round still in progress rather than a real failure.

Overview

The live leaderboard reflects scores as players submit them, hole by hole. A team that has only finished part of its round will show through its last submitted hole, which is normal and not a bug. Most stale-looking leaderboards come from a cached page, a screenshot, or a round that has not progressed far enough yet.

How to fix it

  1. Confirm live scoring is enabled for the event so submitted scores feed the leaderboard.
  2. Ask which team and hole looks wrong so you can check a specific entry rather than the whole board.
  3. Confirm the player actually submitted the hole in question. A partial round only displays through the last submitted hole, which is expected.
  4. Hard-refresh the leaderboard with Cmd-R (Mac) or Ctrl-R (Windows) to clear a cached view.
  5. Make sure everyone is opening the live leaderboard URL, not a screenshot or an old browser tab someone left up.
  6. If scores were submitted but are still missing, override the score from Dashboard → Events → [Event] → Scoring.

Things to know

  • A partial round showing only completed holes is correct behavior, not a stuck leaderboard.
  • A clubhouse TV that has been on for hours may be showing a cached page until it is refreshed.
  • A screenshot never updates, so confirm viewers are on the live URL.
  • An organizer override is the right tool when a score was entered but did not reach the board.

Still stuck?

Open the chat assistant — the red Ask AI button in your dashboard — and it can look up the player, check delivery logs, and resend links for you. On event day, use the emergency contact button to reach Jeanine directly.
